ABOUT
Who runs San Antonio HVAC Guide
Independent notes for a warm house, a wet ceiling, or a furnace that has not run since spring. They explain what to ask a licensed technician. They are not a substitute for one standing at the equipment.
Who writes it
Mike Maziarz — Editor
Mike Maziarz writes practical home-service guides for homeowners. These pages explain common problems and what to ask a licensed pro; they are not a substitute for on-site diagnosis.
How we write these guides
- Notes about the long cooling season, attic air handlers, condensate, and uncommon hard freezes are local context. We do not invent counts or prices.
- We do not publish refrigerant charging steps, safety-switch bypasses, or gas-furnace repairs for readers to copy.
- We do not publish ratings, reviews, or a ranking of contractors.
- Permit and license rules are confirmed with the office named on the page, not quoted here as a section number.
- If a page is wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
How the site is paid for
Right now the site has no advertising, affiliate links, sponsored placements or paid referrals. If that changes, we will say so on this page and next to any paid link or phone number.
What we are not
We are not a heating and cooling contractor. We do not open equipment, handle refrigerant, or dispatch a technician. A gas smell, a carbon monoxide alarm, and a person in distress from the heat are emergencies, not articles to finish indoors.
